Uninstall DVD Shrink
from Windows

Hello, I found DVD shrink application on the computer, but I am unfamiliar with even though it looks quite useful. How can I completely uninstall the application without leaving any files?

Option 1. Uninstall DVD Shrink

If you have a recently installed this program, you may find in the startup window. Click on the startup process, find the title on the system, right-click on the application and click Uninstall.

Option 2. Remove DVD Shrink via the Control Panel

In case this program has been long on the system, then you will need to uninstall it the usual way.

1. Click on the Startup button, type Apps.
2. Select Apps and Features entry.
3. Enter the list of system applications.
4. Find DVD Shrink, click on it and choose Uninstall option. Follow the instructions of the uninstallation wizard.

Option 3. Remove the remaining files

Even if the uninstallation process goes smoothly, the software leaves its registry files on the system. In order to delete them permanently, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Windows key+R, type regedit.
2. Launch Registry Editor.
3. You can find DVD Shrink application with Edit, Find Next function.
4. Or you can search for the folder the usual way
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Uninstal\\DVDShrink.
5. Right-click on it and delete the folder.

If you cannot uninstall the application, check for corrupted files:

1. Click on Windows key+X. Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Once it launches, type sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
3. Wait for the process to finish.

In case you downloaded the application from secondary sources, there is a risk of malware. Run the scan with [d1] to make sure no malignant files reside on the system.
