from Windows

Hello! I want to remove Yep from my Mac. My mom used to work on this computer before, and she gave it to me, and I think I am not going to use this program. I want to remove it and replace it with some other apps that interest me more! Can you teach me how to do it properly?

Yep is a product developed by Ironic Software. Yep is a program that can help to sort and store text documents neatly. This program is like iTunes for music files - but it works for PDF and text files. Yep shows all PDF, Office and iWork documents in one place - so reaching your work documents becomes a very easy task. You are not going to search all your computer to find a lost PDF file if you do not remember where did you save it. This application also lets tag the data, and this option allows to sort your documents. Therefore, it helps to group your files for even better access. According to the Apple Store, Yep even “has a built-in scanning interface optimized for documents.” As you can see, Yep is a beneficial application that can be used on daily basis. There is no doubt that many computer users find this program useful - but for some users this program can only take space on the computer if they do not use it or if they do not work with text documents very often. If you think that you do not need Yep on your computer anymore, follow these guidelines to remove it:

How to Uninstall Yep on Mac OS X?

Yep can be very easily removed with professional uninstallers. Here is a list of programs that you can use:

However, Yep can also be uninstalled manually. We have prepared these Yep removal instructions for you. Firstly, you will need to delete Yep icon:

1. Enter the Applications folder;
2. Click on Yep icon and hold it;
3. Drag Yep icon to Trash;
4. Select Empty Trash.

However, deleting Yep icon does not remove the whole Yep program. You need to find and delete all leftovers of Yep, which can be found in these folders:

• /Library/Application Support/;
• /Library/Preferences/.

NOTE. Before deleting any file from these folders, make sure that it belongs to Yep program. Otherwise, you may delete some important files that are necessary.
