Hello. AddressBookSourceSync error appears in the middle of my screen constantly. It even leads to the process when pop-up after pop-up go one after the other when there are at least 4 layered on top of each other. It asks to enter my password and log in. It wants me to approve iCloud usage, I also find it running in the background that slowdowns the device significantly. It is annoying and I don't know what to do. Help!

AddressBookSourceSync process running in the background and the pop-ups asking for permissions appear to bother users online fro a while now.[ref en-1] Crashes, constant freezes, and general slowness of the machine continue to annoy Mac users, so there are many people looking for answers and solutions. 

The random pop-up and the AddressBookSourceSync process keeps showing up and even consumes the vast majority of Mac's resources, which decreases the performance significantly. Fix the slowness issue due to AddressBookSourceSync

• Launch Contacts.
• Click on File from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
• Choose Export.
• Select Contacts Archive.
  

  

• Select the location where to save the file and set the file name. 
• Go to icloud.com and check if you have all the contacts there.
• Launch Activity Monitor and make sure that AddressBookSourceSync is not running. Double-click and select Quit from the window. 
• Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book/ and hold the option key down while you select the Go menu in Finder. 
  

  

• Delete everything, except plist.
• Then go to System Preferences and click on iCloud.
• Navigate to Contacts and check off the box.
• Recheck the box again and wait for the sync start.
