Before you get started manually fixing 0x80070543 error, you should run a full system scan with a professional PC optimization tool, such as [d1] or  [rev id=”RegCure Pro”]. This way, you will fix registry errors, delete malware, duplicate files, cache and similar issues that may be negatively influencing PC’s performance or even make Windows update fall and lead to 0x80070543 pop-up. Once the scan is done, check if the update can be run now. If the error emerges anyway, then do the following steps:

1. Click Win key + R simultaneously.
2. Type dcomcnfg.exe in the run dialogue box and hit Enter.
3. Click OK and the OK again on the UAC prompt window.
4. Expand Component Services and Computers options on the left and locate My Computer.
5. Right-click on My Computer and select Properties.
6. Go to the Default Properties. If you find Default Authentication set to None, set it to Connected.
7. Go to Default Impersonation Level list, select Identify, and click OK.
8. After that, click OK, and Yes to confirm the changes.
9. Close the window that you currently see, restart your PC, and try to run the update now.
