on Windows

Hi. All games are running on low FPS after the Windows update... My hardware is relatively new, so I used to easily get 60 FPS. Now, after an automatic Windows 10 update, I can't get more than 30. Are there any solutions for this?

Windows 10 updates are perceived by many as a negative aspect of the operating system - it restarts PCs when users are away, disrupts program compatibility, damages some functions, and even breaks some features altogether. However, considering how large the user base of Microsoft products is, inconsistencies are bound to happen. Fix 1. Roll back the latest GPU driver

Fix 4. Change Notification settings on Windows

• Right-click on Start and pick Settings
• Select System
• Click Notifications & actions on the left
• Scroll down to Notifications section and untick the Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows option.

  

Fix 5. Revert the latest Windows updates

If FPS drops on Windows 10 started happening after a Windows update, you might consider uninstalling it. Note that this only works up to 30 days after the update was installed. Otherwise, you might consider resetting Windows without losing files.

• Type in Control Panel in Windows search and press Enter
• Go to Programs > Uninstall the program
• Select View installed updates on the left side

  

• Click on Installed On once to sort the updates by date
• Scroll down to Microsoft Windows section
• Right-click on the most recent update (might be several entries) and select Uninstall

  

• Reboot your PC and check if your FPS improved.
