Fix 1. Clear the failed attempt and run a fresh installer as administrator

1. Put setup.exe and your XML file in one short local folder, such as C:\ODT.
2. Press Win + S, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
3. Type cd /d C:\ODT and press Enter.
4. Type dir and press Enter. Check that both setup.exe and your XML file are listed with their real names.
5. Type setup.exe /configure configuration.xml with the real name of your file and press Enter.

Fix 3. Download Office first, then install it from the local copy

Fix 7. Remove other Office versions, then install again

3. If less than about 10 GB is free, clear Temporary files and the Recycle Bin: Free up disk space and delete temporary files.
4. Run setup again.

3. Open the newest .log file whose name begins with your PC's name.
