If your files have a .seto extension appended to it, it means that your device was infected with a variant of Djvu ransomware. Ransomware is a serious and destructive computer virus that might result in complete data loss.
Before you do anything, you should make sure of two things:
1. Make a copy of all the files that were encrypted and put them either on a virtual storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) or DVD, Flash USB or another external storage device
2. Remove the ransomware virus before trying to recover files - use anti-malware software and perform a full system scan. If you need more instructions on the process, check this article.
Once you have done that, you can attempt to recover data with the newest Emsisoft decryption tool for cases where ransomware encrypted files with an offline key. You can download the decryptor here: https://www.emsisoft.com/ransomware-decryption-tools/stop-djvu.
If that fails, you can also try methods listed in our "How to recover files encrypted by Seto ransomware?" article.
