Interrupting the chkdsk while it is running is not recommended - even if it technically cannot damage the device itself. Possibly the worst-case scenario is when the power is cut off to the computer during the Check disk scan.
As a first remedy, we would recommend simply repeating the process - access Command Prompt (Admin) once again and run the command "chkdsk /f, /r". Wait till the process fully finishes this time.
If that does not help, you should try the following solution:
Ensure folders are not hidden. Type in "Folder Options" into Windows search and hit Enter. Go to the View tab and tick the "Show hidden files, folders, or drives" and click on Apply > OK.
