The KB4056892 is an emergency update that Microsoft released to address Spectre and Meltdown design flaws. Due to its importance in terms of security, the company pushed this update as one of the automatic Windows Updates. Sadly, but the vital update that is supposed to close the backdoor for malware has crashed thousands of PCs, which is why Microsoft rolled back this update.
For now, the update is no longer distributed as an automatic Windows patch update. It can be installed manually, but we do not recommend downloading it due to the high risk of getting the system stuck at boot. Currently, the only clever solution is to roll back and block the KB4056892 from installing.
