After downloading the new Microsoft Edge last night. My Microsoft Word went crazy putting dots (.) and arrows throughout all of my documents and I am just in tears trying to repair it. I uninstalled the new Edge, I uninstalled my WORD and reinstalled it and nothing works. My version came with Microsoft Works Suite 2006. Can U help?

This is the issue that is not that commoner reported, so there might be different reasons. If these lines and dots printing too? If not, you should check if the boundaries are turned on. That may be the issue.
Go to File, then Options and Advanced.
Look under Show Document Content and uncheck the Show text boundaries.
