Solved Answer

Microsoft Edge is the default web browser on Windows 10 OS. Therefore, after clean install of Windows 10 or upgrading Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or another version to Windows 10 will automatically set Microsoft Edge as a default web browser. This fact should be no surprise because Microsoft seeks to show people what it has to offer and attract more users. While some people prefer using Microsoft Edge, the others are used to Google Chrome or another web browser, which is why one of the first system reset after upgrading to Windows 10 is often related to a default web browser. Unfortunately, many people have reported that they can‘t set a default web browser on Windows 10. Each time people click on a random link while browsing, they receive a Browser Choice Notification, which asks „How do you want to open this?“. According to Microsoft, this „Browser Choice update to comply with a legal settlement with the European Commission.” Its purpose is to inform people that there are other web browser choices available. Nevertheless, Microsoft allows to disable Browser Choice pop-up and we are going to explain how.

Don’t pay ransomware authors – use alternative data recovery options

Malware attacks, particularly ransomware, are by far the biggest danger to your pictures, videos, work, or school files. Since cybercriminals use a robust encryption algorithm to lock data, it can no longer be used until a ransom in bitcoin is paid. Instead of paying hackers, you should first try to use alternative recovery methods that could help you to retrieve at least some portion of the lost data. Otherwise, you could also lose your money, along with the files. One of the best tools that could restore at least some of the encrypted files –  Data Recovery Pro.
