    Hello,

Unfortunately, but there is no easy way to disable the auto-play feature on all websites, as the feature is configured by the developers of the site that you visit.

Our first advice would be installing an ad-blocking extension, such as Ublock or AdBlock. These apps would stop many commercial-type videos from being shown in the first place.

The other method would be disabling the Flash auto-play, although it will only stop Flash-based video from being shown. Here's how to do it on Chrome:

    1. Click on Menu and pick Settings
    2. Go to Advanced and then select Site Settings
    3. Locate Flash
    4. Toggle the lever to the right

If you are using Safari, please follow this guide: https://ugetfix.com/ask/how-to-stop-autoplay-video-in-safari/.

Also, you could mute all the videos on Chrome by using these instructions: https://ugetfix.com/ask/how-to-mute-websites-in-google-chrome/.

    Good luck,
    Ugetfix team.
