Hi, I am trying to connect to the following site https://mijn.overheid.nl and receiving the response from safari that it can’t establish a secure connection. I can access it from my iPhone. Any ideas ?
I am on my Mac, which a tad on the old side – running OS X Yosemite V 10.10.5
Many thanks
Ian
"Can’t establish a secure connection" is a relatively common issue that affects Safari users - it prevents users from accessing not only uncommon but also the most popular ones like YouTube.com, Apple.com, etc. For that reason, the error root cause is typically not related to the website itself, but rather configuration settings within your computer or the web browser.
Additionally, "Can’t establish a secure connection" may also be caused by external applications that could have changed your DNS settings, so it is worth checking the system for malware.
Nevertheless, if you want to check a detailed guide on how to fix "Can’t establish a secure connection" issue on your web browser, you should click on this link - we provide instructions on how to adjust the DNS settings, check for site's certificate, and disable IPv6 Protocol.
Good luck!
