Issue: How to fix Unable to launch the game: Unrecoverable Error in New World?
Every time I try to launch New World through Steam, I get the “Unrecoverable Error.” When I press the Play button, I can see the game files loading, and the loading screen shows up, just to be interrupted with the error. I then click the blank button, and the game simply shits down. Any solutions for this as I'm unable to play New World due to this.

New World was a long-anticipated MMORPG developed by Amazon and released on September 28, 2021. As it is common for awaited releases, the game broke concurrent player records on Steam, becoming the most played game of the year during its launch week. It also spiked on the streaming platform Twitch with over half a million viewers at launch and continues to be one of the top games on the platform.[1]
Despite the game's popularity, it has been a rather bumpy ride for Amazon. Initially scheduled to be launched in August, it was postponed after Beta testing, right after player feedback made it clear that the game was still not ready. At that time, news broke that New World was breaking high-end Nvidia GPUs in some rare cases – a problem that still continues to this day.[2]
With the launch, more troubles followed. Users were stuck in 20k+ queues and couldn't play the game at all. 1. Delete the certificates
